Susan–you’re well on your way to becoming an all time Ms. Massanutten, as the woman with most number of finishes at this beautiful and tough MMT 100.

Hope to see you out here for many more years to come. See you in about two weeks at Ozark! My birth-mother will fly from Korea to be with me there, and together we’ll visit my wonderful adoptive parents in Branson, MO after the race.

Susan, CONGRATS on your 8th MMT finish. We enjoyed reading your report. You seemed to enjoy the run so much. Rebecca and I missed being at Powell’s Fort this year. We were in Florida for the Keys 100 miler (or Keys 93 miler for me (:. So glad you had a good breakfast….and we missed you guys too. Thanks for the great report and hope you enjoy next year’s MMT as much as this year’s.

Thanks! I can see every inch of that course in my head and it can be a challenge to get even some of it on paper. Glad you got serenaded! See you out there at least next year if not before!

Susan` LOVED your race report! Glad that you heard the Spring Peepers – my husband Rande was too far ahead to experience the deafening welcome that we heard! I have never heard such a chorus of lil’ buddies before in my life!!!! Thanks for sharing and way to go!!!!! Only 2 more finishes until you earn gold!!!!! What an accomplishment! See you somewhere out there next year.

Don’t wait to try one! You don’t have to start on anything “epic.” Life is short and like the saying goes, you won’t regret the things you did as much as the things you didn’t even try. I wish I’d started earlier. Give it a shot.

Very descriptive and interesting race report. You made me feel like I was out there on the trail, too! This somewhat sparks my interest for the possibility of me one day attempting an ultra. Although, I don’t know if I’d have it in me to complete something that massive! Congrats and enjoyed the read!!
